Hi I'm 30 and have always had weight problems. I've recently been told I have type 2 diabetes and I'm really wanting to lose weight. I also have a thyroid that's under active. I try to walk and ride my bike but I get tired so easy. Anyone got any ideas to how I can get rid of this weight

Need help
I thought my thyroid was holding my weight loss back as I have always eaten healthily and exercised but like you feel tired easily, despite getting my meds checked and adjusted regularly. However, last week (my first week on this plan) I lost 2lb 8oz which still has me smiling. I got lots of ideas from people on this forum and as a result downloaded and have been using the My Fitness Pal app. I did two gym workouts , yoga, pilates and a fitball class as well as a four hour walk across the moors and some shorter walks (total of nearly 13 hours exercise) and never ate more than 1400 calories a day (except once but more than offset by the exercise). I feel really good and my trousers are already beginning to feel slack.
Good luck, you will be able to do it.
How much extra weight roughly do you think you are carrying? I have about 5 stone to lose.
