Today I had to go out for a business lunch in a swanky restaurant and usually, with everyone else eating and drinking it would be the only time I'd be comfortable eating in front of others... I'd use it as an excuse for a bit of a binge and wouldn't DREAM of ordering anything that didn't have chips with it....
Until today.
Very keen not to ruin my efforts so far I ordered a falafel salad and it was absolutely scrummy!
It's the small victories that make it worth it

Brilliant Han, well done for resisting the other things on offer today. It's a surprise isn't when you go for a healthier eating option just how good they taste.
Did you resist the pud options as well, or go for a health option there as well? They are often harder to find on a menu.
No pudding! My boss had some and so did my colleague but I even TALKED about why I wasn't having any I just said 'in actually eating a bit more healthily at the moment'... We had the usual 'oh go on its just once' conversations, but I just smiled and said no thanks!
Well done. Every small step is a step in the right direction
Well done, you! Being in control/having self-respect is a great feeling. I have had some chip-shop chips and KettleChips and found I didn't get the buzz/satisfaction I once did. Good Things, HPSJ, Good Things
