Hi I'm just starting my 12 week plan and aiming for 1400 calories per day. I go to the gym regularly but does that mean I eat more on those days or just have fewer calories that day. I go 5-6 days a week so worry I won't be having enough calories.

good luck! I'm on day 5, so far so good. I tend to eat more when I go to the gym too but this week has been quite easy to follow as I've cut out wine totally and pasta which are my two weaknesses!
Im not a gym bunny, but I know that some people on this site use the myfitness pal app. You enter your activity in as well as your calorie intake and it adjusts the number of calories available for the day.
I lost my weight on the 5:2 Diet and Dr Michael Mosley says to never eat back your exercise calories. Three stone off in six months and I've kept it off since April 2013.
if you're going to the gym that often I'd say you need more calories. Someone else mentioned fitnesspal,i'd recommend that aswell. According to the app I get 1550 and when I'm eating right I still lose weight regularly. Good luck!
Depends what you do in the gym. Is it cardio or strength? The NHS plan does not factor in 'eating back exercise' calories but calculates your calories on your exercise lifestyle.
