This will be my third time starting the NHS plan...I am 5"1 and 10 stone 3 lbs. My goal weight is around 8 stone...long way to go but I am determined to do it this time!
Does anyone know how many calories I should be eating a day? I was thinking about 1200 as I'm such a short ass!

I'm an inch taller than you and I was 10st 4lb when I started on Wed this week. My aim is to be 8st 6lbs. I'm eating just over 1200cal/day but up to 1400cal/day is supposed to be Ok if you're relatively active (more than 2.5h/week exercise). I've started going to the gym so that ups how many calories I can have/day. Try using the MyFitnessPal app. You can record your calorie intake and your exercise and it lets you know if you're on target for the day.
To maintain our weight we're supposed to be eating between 1500-1900ca/day. Hope that helps!

That's really useful - thank you! I think I'll do the same and try and stick within the 1200-1400 bracket. I went to the gym this morning and feeling motivated!
I put your information into the BMI calculator with an age of 21 and low activity levels and it came up with 1403-1804 calories per day. I have stayed within the calories recommended for me and my height, weight, age and gender and have managed very well. I have aimed for the lower limit but on occasion have nearly hit the higher one but still managed to lose weight every week. I am on to week five and have lost nearly 4 kg, which I am happy with. Good luck and don't stop trying.
