I've stayed the same this week which I am pleased about as I now have a rough idea how much I can eat to maintain my weight. Quite a lot really so I'm going to try to cut back a bit this week and lose another 1lb for my next weigh in. Is anyone else amazed that this site only has 22,000 plus followers? I feel so lucky to have found it and have your support. :)

Hi eeek, well done for your positive attitude, good luck for next week. 22,000 + is a lot of people it is so good to feel we are not alone. Have a good weekend.

Thank you Rosie. It was a bit of a tough week too as the washing machine flooded twice. Water, water, everywhere!

I agree with you, my NHS dietitian suggested I had a look at the site 3 months ago. I saw her again last week and told her how brilliant I have found it, so many people on here who understand what you are talking about when you post and such support.

I check out the site a couple of times a day at least and try to read everyones posts, it is brill to read their posts and learn from them and the responses from all the Healthunlocked family out there.

I found the site myself when I was at a diet low. It keeps me going now. If I feel like snacking in the evenings I cut a big apple in chunks, chomp away and read the posts. Just like I'm doing now! :)

Thank you Linda. Have a good weekend!

Well done eeeek - it's useful to experiment and find how much we can eat to lose, maintain or gain. Enjoy your apple! :-)

Hi Eeek1110,

Well done for maintaining your weight this week - it's good that you have a rough idea of how much you can eat to maintain your weight, and good luck with achieving your 1 pound weight loss goal for your next weigh-in.

When I first joined this site, back in 2013, it only had less than 10,000 followers, so it's increasing gradually over time. I saw it advertised in a magazine article at one point too - can't remember when, but I was pleased to see it being mentioned.

It's certainly a great community.

Wishing you a great week ahead.

Lowcal :-)
