Joining up because I've been quite poorly, haven't been able to exercise and have piled on the pounds. Not happy with myself. Got the all clear to get back to exercise again the day after tomorrow so healthy eating and exercise here I come...hopefully in time for summer and some nice new outfits.

Hi fiona101, good luck on your journey. The nhs 12 week plan is a great place to start it has helped me no end and I am happy I stuck with it.
When I started I knew and believed I can do it and that 2015 was time for me to change. I am now 46 lbs down so that belief in myself has really carried me through and this great community who have given me so much support and encouragement along the way. I really wish you the best of luck on your journey as well as health and happiness, good luck x
Thank you for all your positive comments. Did my first mini run in months yesterday and can't believe just how my fitness has I used to run 10k without any effort and I just stumbled through a little jog: I felt every pound of the extra I'm carrying. But I've stuck to my diet and am off to the gym again tomorrow. Patience isn't one of my virtues.
