I have started this programme and really want to give it a shot but I have a tendency to eat when I'm bored and need ideas how to avoid this? Also is there any way of checking calories of food that are not on the list provided by the website I.e granola with berries
Thanks everyone

I'm currently on week 8 and I've found a few little things that have helped me. Firstly I've upped my water/squash intake- helps me feel less peckish. Also I've switched to foods which make me feel fuller e.g. Beans, wholemeal bread, eggs. But I think the main thing I've done is just to cast the thought of food out of my head and not put so much emphasis on it. Obviously I watch what I eat and count my calories, but by not obsessing about food I find that I rarely think about having a few chocolate biscuits or whatever also exercise can be a game changer. I've been going to the gym/badminton/football/walking which keeps me occupied so I'm ready for my meal when I have it, but in between I just don't need to think about.
Hope this is in any way helpful and best of luck with your weight loss!
If you use a free app such as MyFitnessPal you can just enter in whatever food it is and it will calculate the calories. It also has a bar code scanner for packaged foods.
Try not to eat anything between meals. If it's not in the house you can't eat it, so don't buy the biscuits!
Hunger doesn't get worse if you don't eat and soon passes if you have a drink instead and keep busy. I do the 5:2 Diet (I lost three stone in six months) so on two non-consecutive days a week I just eat 500 calories. It's easy to do because you know you can eat normally the next day. I've been at my goal weight now since April 2013.
And don't eat back any exercise calories you burn!
