Thats seems like very little calories hun are you sure your eating enough? For sweetness i eat clementines or strawberries or my partner makes me meringue biscuits low cal and very sweet, be careful of eating too many tho as high in sugar. Weight watchers have some great cake bars that are yummy and low cal. Or worthers originals are great 3 are 70cals and they really help with my sweet cravings. Find what works for you there is something out there that will help for you

Thank you I have some clementines so will try that. Tbh I know it's low calories the doctor told me i need to eat more and everyone is always shocked at how little I actually do eat. I think the main problem with how I put so much weight on is I literally lived on coke and lattes and gained 8stone in 4 years. I do try to eat more but I find if I eat in the evenings I physically can't keep it down. My main problem is I drop my daughter to school miss breakfast (I have forced my self to eat a yogurt everyday this week) the go to work and down lattes and coke to get me through the day. Then when I finish it's school run then dinner is only an hour later so coke and lattes again with biscuits to keep me going. Then dinner. Tbh I'm dreading work tommorow as I've had 3 days off this week only been on diet 6

It's probably not my place to say but yeah eating so few calories can have an affect on your daughter too - I know my Mum was always dieting when I was younger and it sort of made me think that if my Mum, my beautiful Mum, was not happy with the way she looked or felt, and was willing to pretty much starve herself to be how she wanted, is that how society judged people? And if I wasn't skinny was I ''right''?

Oh my gosh Im sorry that was a bit emotional :') On a less serious note, mango and pineapple help sugar cravings - full of natural sugars :)

Will try the mango and pineapple thankyou. And no don't worry about whatnot said I've never actually thought of it that way. My daughter has renal problems and newly diagnosed with celiacs disease so her diet plan is all done through a dietion atm. So she eats her what we callher special foods and I half the time don't eat with her, for that reason it is her special time to get what she needs and as some of the stuff she has tbh is actualy vile. I never thought that not eating with her would have an effect so thank.you for bringing that to my attention

Hi, if your not eating enough your body will go into starvation mode, and hang on to everything, for self preservation, so you do need to eat more

I can understand being busy, try packing healthy snacks for work and while you are out. Please try to take good care of yourself, i had a soda addiction and since ive cut it out feel so much better and has helped loose weight dramatically. Find natural energy boosts from healthier sources such as fruit, veg and foods with protein and fibre.

Make time for yourself i know its hard with a job and children, but they would prefer you take time for yourself and be around for many more years being there for them their whole lives. You are important too. If you dont have time for lunch pack yourself something. Eating regular and healthier will help you to feel fuller and more energetic.

How many calories should weaim to consume daily I'm so useless with this stuff I don't no how to count them ect.

in reply toannehayley

Apparently you shouldn't eat any fewer calories than 1200 - a few more or less won't hurt but it does sound like you are eating too few at the moment!

By the way, I totally understand your caffeine addiction - have you tried swapping coke for diet coke and a latte for a normal coffee? An americano with skimmed milk is only about 15 cals!

I've cut the coke completely but having migraines so hopefully they will pass soon and luckily for me i like black coffee so there isn't a problem there. But I will from tommoro try and eat some more x

Echoing what everyone else has said, your calories are too low, you'll crave worse because you are starving, this is not how to lose weight, it's not sustainable, hunger is primeval instinct and with all the best willpower in the world if you are starving yourself you'll eventually break.

In your other post you said you needed to lose 8-9 stone so at this stage you should be able to make some small healthy changes and lose weight. You are far better making small lifetime changes than making short term drastic changes. :)

Thank you I will look into that site

Some good tips on your replies, how about Go Ahead biscuits, they are low in calories and pretty good value too and filling.
