Please can someone tell me (roughly) how many calories are in a thin base, margherita pizza without any extra toppings from an italian restaurant? I'd really like a pizza tonight but I want to monitor my cal intake and make up for any extra I might consume while eating out.

Thanks.

Sarah Lou.

A Pizza Hut 11 inch thin base margherita pizza is 1,000 calories on the nail! On average there are 8 slices to a large pizza! Maybe pinch one slice from someone else and top up with salad!!!

Thank you Candystripe :)

I'm going to go down the skinny pizza route I think. Looking online I think they're about 540 calories. The restaurant I'm going to make them and I've eaten one before. It is smaller but there's no compromise on taste and you still feel full afterwards!

I just don't want to deny myself the things I love. I'd rather find ways to trim those calories and save some up throughout the day than tell myself I can't have something.

Absolutely right. If you tell yourself that you can't have it then you're probably destined to fail. To look for an alternative is way better. Good luck and enjoy!!!
