Back on the NHS Plan

Just back from a two week all inclusive holiday in Turkey and only put seven pounds back on after losing nearly three stone leading up to the holiday. Restarted the 12 week NHS plan yesterday and already finding it hard to stay focused on my target goal. Any ideas on how I could keep focused or am I just being weak minded? Thanks Steve

Is it really possible for 'weak minded' and losing 'three stone' do not go together. You've done really really well.

I found things very daunting at first - about 2 or 3 months before I started this latest atempt to lose weight but I've gone for little goals to try and make it easier. I've only done 2 weeks - so teaching grannies to suck eggs seriously comes to mind - but the little goal - of getting through the morning or even just stopping myself from having that 'bleep bleep' packet of crisps have got me through so far.

All the best & glad you had a lovely holiday.

Hi Steve

It is hard to get your motivation back after any holiday, let alone an all-inclusive one, and seven pounds is the usual amount to put on.

Maybe try a different way of eating? The 5:2/Fast Diet is extremely effective - this little video explains it very well youtu.be/W9Aj6hRYg4A - and may be what you're looking for. It's only two non-consecutive days a week and those seven pounds would be gone in a month.
