I thought the fasting days had to ideally run consecutively. Am I right or doesn't it matter?

5-2 fasting days
I think they usually recommend that they don't run consecutively as it's too hard, so would suggest spacing them out
Hi, no it's recommended that it's non-consecutive days. Some do back to back but obviously it's easier if you know you can eat more the next day. It's a brilliant way of eating and it works so well. I'm on my phone at present but when I'm home I'm very happy to send you more information and answer your questions.
No, apparently not. 2 separate days with some space in between them.
The 5:2 Diet is based on the BBC Horizon programme, "Eat, Fast and Live Longer" bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b... which aired two years ago - totally changed my life. Until then I'd always yoyoed, losing weight and then stopping counting calories and piling it all back on again and more. I lost three stone in six months up to April 2013 and I'm still at that weight and a size 10 - I've never been as slim or as fit and healthy and will carry on 'fasting' one day a week for the rest of my life.
This little video explains it very well youtu.be/W9Aj6hRYg4A and I'm very happy to answer any further questions you have.
It really doesn't matter. I've been fasting on Monday's and Thursdays and managed to lose 10lbs in as many weeks. I let it slip over Christmas though, and gained some weight again. Here's the official website which it's worth registering with. thefastdiet.co.uk/ Best of luck.
