Hi I need to lose about 6 stone but I have had both kneese replaced so 4 weeks ago so can't do much exercise so all tops ans help will be very welcome need all the help I can get

Wow turns out we need our knees ey. But have no fear if thou has an excuse thou shall use it. Simply put, if you can get to a gym there are arm machines 30mins on that boom cardio :) up the intensity and you have yourself weights. Then to think about it if you can sit down, then you can do bicep curls and most other weight exercises other than things like squats leg presses etc..

You don't appear to look much like a pro gym goer however so basic advice which I'm sure you know but what to hear :) get off the treadmill and do elliptical trainer or my gym has one that is like a ski ing motion...basically that and swimming takes off all the heavy impacts of running and walking while giving you a cardio workout.

You will need to take it very easy so your body gets used to your new knees, I wouldn't do any leg exercises without seeking professional help like a physio which can give you specific exercises to strength your supporting knee muscles.

Basically doing nothing is never an option so best of luck and hope you recovery quickly :) stay positive and look forward to seeing the results.

My name is Sophia and I am a personal trainer... They often use exercise bikes for knee rehabilitation... It is gentle on the knees and can help loosen the tighter muscles. Hope your feeling ok.
