Yes it's a ral pain how having a good time and a few drinks can pile on the pounds quite quickly. Many people cut out all alcohol on a 'diet' , it will work but then they resume dtinking later and weight goes back on. Its all a question of balance. I use "myfitnesspal" app, to calculate my daily calories ftom food and drink. Ive made a few friends on myfitnesspal forum who still continue yo have a drink several times a week .. you just have to count it into your daily total calories consumed. Eg yestetday I went for lunch and had wine 2 x 175ml glasses, eg 350 cals and 900 in food that day. Of course you need to still eat a healthy diet, but the odd drink is no harm as long as you count it in .
