Having started at 12st 10 last week I am now 12st 5. I'm really pleased to have stuck with the plan (mostly) and glad that the scales have shown results as this has motivated me to keep going for this week. Thanks to everyone for the tips on dealing with those evening snack attacks! Hope everyone else has had a good week

Hi chunkymum- well done! I'm one week in too and have lost 5lbs! I wish I could say that I was feeling great but I'm not- I have headaches and feel spaced out most of the time. Do you think this will go away? I seem to have lots of physical energy but can't concentrate on mental tasks, not sure what to do...
Hi Loobyloo. What a shame the weightloss is making you feel ill. This is the first time I have ever dieted as my weight has slowly increased for years, but I haven't had any headaches etc. When I was younger and slimmer I did get headaches and the spaced out feeling you describe when I didn't eat breakfast or if I skipped a meal, so maybe it's low blood sugar (I have no medical knowledge to back this up). Maybe you're actually eating too little for you- perhaps some additional slow release carbohydrates might help (eg, oats/wholemeal bread etc). If that doesn't work perhaps you could speak to your doctor for some advice. Hope that's helpful and you start to feel better this week.
Hi Loobyloo22, I agree with chunkymum....make sure your getting enough calories, drink plenty of water too!! dehydration can give you a nasty headache
