I am used to counting my calories on myfitnessplanner but out of ignorance I still go over my goal calorie intake. I am very bad for eating while im bored and at the moment I stay home a lot as I have a new job as an au pair but kids are at school most days and I have little housework to do. I lost 1 and a half stone last year taking my weight from 14st to 12.7st but now im struggling to move the rest. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks x

New to this I have just signed up today for this 12 week weight loss trial. Wondered if anyone has any tips for me to get started.
Boredom is about not taking responsibility for your own entertainment. . Take up a hobby learn a new language do some exercise. Read a book. Learn to meditate. Meet friends. Try something new. You can do this now as you can choose to be happy with yourself as you commit to this healthy life style.

Totally agree with jag_anne, although some more achievable than others! Travelling around the world I find some of these quite difficult and I'm very much alone most of the time. I follow some of the exercises on you tube and when I'm done for after that I either read or pick up some cross stitch, anything to keep my fingers and my mind occupied and off food! I go for walks, but for me, there has to be purpose, so often walk to the park armed with a bottle of water and my Kindle. (Okay so I have an exercise bike!) I am now in my fourth week and have lost just over a stone already! Keep going girls, because we're worth it!
That's a good idea (exercises from youtube) I'm going to have to give that a go! Yeah Im just starting out so can't wait to see results! Well don't that's fantastic! X
Have you thought about c25k - brilliant exercise & very supportive forum. Re weight loss I followed the advice on this site and my tips are plan your meals, use smaller plates & don't get too hungry.
