I joined on Monday and started the NHS Weightloss plan. I decided to join after finding that my waist had increased from 36 to 42 inches, which really shocked me. I finished work over a year ago through ill health and it as really just crept up on me. So I started the plan for weight and also the 5 week to fitness plan. Anyway, my journey begins and thought I would say hi.
Good Morning to you all...: I joined on... - Weight Loss Support
Good Morning to you all...
Welcome and good luck with your journey.
Hi, I have recently finished work through ill health(I had a stroke which has left me weak on the left side). I have just joined the NHS Weightloss site, as I have gone from a size 14 to 18 in the last 6 moths. I also broke my ankle on the right side, due to being over tired and trying to get back to being normal. Exercise and diet I know is the key but I find it hard. I eat very little but seem to be getting bigger!HELP
Hi you say you eat very little and you seem to be getting bigger
Maybe you are eating too little ???? or maybe you are eating very little of high calories foods ???
if you could do a food journal and write doen every mouthful you eat & drink every day (be totally honest) and then work out how many calories you are eating you might see the problem ! remember you need to be eating about 1400 calories a day as a woman to lose weight - you can do it !
the best thing to do is eat foods that you like (dont worry about what you can't eat) think about all the great things you can eat !!
eat them in the correct portion sizes -use the nhs guide on size & number of portions a day for each type of food eg carbs, protein, dairy etc etc
keep an eye on eating a varied diet so you dont get bored -include lots of fruit & veg -try some different ones !
try to keep sugar & fat down - do some exercise and the weight will drop off - honestly - i have done it myself !!
hope this helps - good luck
