I guess just ring the surgery you are registered at, and ask for an appointment - I don't think you'd have to specify the reason when ringing.

You could ask the receptionist. They may direct you to someone at the surgery who runs a specialist service.

Hi Angel

I just booked an appointment with my usual gp who knows my history, there are lots of gps at our surgery but i try to see the same one each time to save going through everything each time!

She referred me to the weight management clinic run by the nurses at the surgery.

Good luck on your journey, you will have to go up some hills along your journey, but hopefully not too many, but please remember we are here for you to help your uphill stages abit easier, and to be there whenever you need us.

If you would like a healthy lifestyle buddy ( hate the D word) i'd be honoured to be there for you.

Take care and angel blessings xx
