Really well done! You should be very happy with your achievement.
Do you mind sharing your tips on getting rid of those final pounds? I'm only about 6lb away from my target of normal BMI. I'm doing OK I think, carrying on with what I have been doing all year (move more, eat less!) But any little bit of extra help is good
Thanks everyone, I started before the NHS plan arrived on here but it is very much what i have been doing, 1200 to 1400 calories spread over 3 meals and 2 snacks, i also started the C25K last year and now run 3 times a week and do a mix of cardio, weights and yoga on a couple of the other days. I have discovered a love of exercise...!
I had stuck at 10. 7 for quite a few weeks and have been happy with where i am, but i had my goal and wanted to achieve it, so i made sure i was sticking to my eating plan, sometimes just a tweak makes a difference.
It has been difficult sometimes, but well worth the effort.
Well done! You must be so proud of yourself! How long did it take you to lose? I started out at the same weight as you and have lost 2 stone since Dec'12 doing 1400 (ish!) cals on my own. Have just found this forum and joined. Weighing in tomorrow to start the 12 weeks to lose the next 2 stone.....I hope! Well done on your success x
Very inspiring! I started at the same weight, lost a stone but then lost steam, I've kept the stone off so now I'm back to do the rest. Fantastic to see you've done it, well done for your hard work and will power.
Ditto BigSuitcase! I was around your heaviest weight and also want to be around 10st 4lbs -10st 8lbs. Really good to hear that you've achieved it. I think I need to have more belief in myself. I don't remember ever being 10st something as I never really bothered about my weight until I was overweight. At the moment I'm just trying to reach my small goals but in the back of my mind I have an excited curiosity about what I might look like when I weigh 10st something. I guess only time will tell!
