Hungry is a good feeling. Try drinking soda water or have a low Calorie Miso soup or eat an apple.
Hi Angel
I was told by a dietician to draw round a teaplate onto a piece of card
Draw a line through the middle of the circle deviding it into two equal sections
Draw a line through the middle of 1 of the halves to make 2 equal quarters
You should have 1 half and 2 quarters
The largest portion is for vegetables and fruit
1 of the smaller portions is for meat or if you're vegetarian quorn or similar products
The other smaller portion is for carbs wholewheat, wholemeal, wholegrain, brown, seeded and jacket are the best choice as we know
I'll let you into a secret sweet potato is a vegetable so enjoy!!
Use this for each meal and it should help keep the hunger pangs a bay
Good luck and if you would like a healthy lifestyle buddy ( i hate the diet word ) i'd be there for you
Take care and angel blessings xx
Hi Mitzymoo,
Thanks for the advice. I have seen the "diet plates" before, but had never thought of making one myself, that's really useful.
I'm totally with you on the "diet" word. I don't want to diet to shed a few pounds to get into a skimpy dress (although that would be good too) I want to reform my eating habits so that I shed the excess and keep it shed! It's really quite frustrating as I did just that on 2005 I lost 2.5 stones in the run up to my wedding and it seemed easy and enjoyable, but now it seems like whatever I do the pounds just will not go short of actually starving myself which we all know is not a healthy lifestyle choice either.
Thanks for your support, any other snippets will be gratefully received.
Hi Angel
I'm glad to help anytime.
I forgot to tell you to check out the blood group diet, it tells you which foods are toxic to your body and what foods are medicine and what to eat generally
I'm blood group O negative and I found out I'm wheat and dairy intolerant and I made the few changes it suggested and by the end of the first week i felt less bloated and by the end of the first month my face and scalp were nearly clear of psoriasis!!
I was shocked at the difference it made and would tell anyone to check it out, even if they're not changing their lifestyle!
Take care and angel blessings xx
