Just weighed in after my first week of 1400 calories a day and I have lost 9 lb. really pleased as its brilliant motivation to keep going. Haven't felt deprived or hungry, hoping things will continue the right way. Also reading mindless eating and escape the diet trap to reinforce things with a bit of cbt.

Well done - nothing like that kind of weight loss to really keep you going. I guess it may slow down for the second week, but any weight loss is an achievement. Keeping to a healthy diet of 1400 calories a day is definitely the way to go - we just all do it at different speeds.

We always think we are the only ones who are struggling, or that everything would be better if I was a size 12, it's only as I have got older I realise its about being happy in ur own skin and it has to come from within, but still better late than never x

Incredible. I'm starting tomorrow and hope to lose a few pounds in the first week. Good luck in week two and keep up the good work. I've grown from a 12 to a 16 and definitely not buying anything bigger. Hope to get back into at least my size 14 clothes! All the best xx
