Feeling frustrated after PCOS doctors appointment

hi

I have recently seen a doctor in U.K. for my sysmptoms & scan results.

I have very irregular periods 1 every 6 or more months at the moment. I can off the pilll 18months ago.

I also have chronic pelvic pain, pain during sex, hair growth, fatigue etc

My scan showed pcos and also showed a cyst in my uterus wall and thickened & vascular uterus lining.

The doctor said he’s not concerned about the cyst in my uterus and not taking that further.

Also said he has no idea what is causing my pain as it’s not the pcos ? does any one else experience this?

He has also said he wants me to to have withdrawal bleeds and that’s the only thing he wants to fix is me not having a period, and because I don’t want to go back on the pill he is giving me a medication to take once every 3 months to cause a bleed. Has anyone had this?

Thanks

I don’t have this issue, but some people I know have this:

Why Do Fibroids Cause Pain During and After Sexual Intercourse?

Uterine fibroids located near the cervix are often the underlying cause behind painful sex. Pressure placed on these fibroids during intercourse can cause anything from mild discomfort to severe pain. For some, friction can also be a factor.

I found looking after my health and well-being key to getting regular periods and a drastic change in diet for 3 months kickstarted great flow.. I know eat normally..

Basically it’s go keto, without any dairy, sugar (even fruit), grains (including pasta, bread and rice), and eat as much meat, fat, seafood, green leafy veg, any green veg, nuts, at least 2ltrs of water, and green juices with veg only and ginger.. this literally has changed my life in many ways and I don’t take any meds for pcos anymore

have you been given any blood tests? They can be very illuminating. I was in similar position but blood tests showed a particular hormone was low and that helped to balance my periods and has managed the PCOS symptoms almost entirely.
