I am 31 had PCOS since 19, I have recently been told I had 2 cysts on my left ovary and a blocked tube.
consultant recommended the cysts being removed before TTC, she also told me that I am not currently ovulating and will give me a course of tablets to ovulate after removing cyst
I'd rather do what I can naturally to conceive
so I need a plan of action!!! Help please
I've changed to a low carb/keto diet and lost a stone ( roughly 6kg).
I have started to take myo-inositol and folic acid but will it help? If im not even ovulating?
I have been on the inositol for a week and have notice a sharp pinching pain in my right side the good ok side. This has worried me im doing harm to the okay ovary and tube!
I am confused shall I carry on with with inositol?
Is the pain normal?
I do have a four year old, and was conceived naturally.
please help!!!!!

I’m sorry you’ve been going through that! As my post is fairly late, I hope the pain has subsided or you have been able to get it checked. Do let us know how you’re getting on?
I can 100% relate as I’m also 31 (32 in a few months) and was officially diagnosed with PCOS when 19, through I had been experiencing symptoms ever since I began my period aged 14.
I used to take Myo-Inositol through a supplement that was really good, but was quite pricey - FH-Pro. What brand of Inositol supplement have you been taking?
I would always recommend speaking to your healthcare provider if you ever experience symptoms that are out of the ordinary as they’d be best to run thorough tests and provide a possible diagnosis.
Having PCOS can be extremely frustrating, as I’m sure you’re aware. Which is why I recently started a community for women with PCOS to receive and provide support to one another. We engage through a range of platforms such as digital and social media. Content across social media is minimal as I’ve only recently started. However, you are free to still join your group chat and follow us on social media to engage with a community of other ‘Cysters’. The link to access the platforms is - linktr.ee/polycyster.
Don’t forget to let us know how you got on with the pain you were experiencing as I can imagine it must not have been nice
