Has anyone ever experienced constant dull pain with PCOS? Following my scans I know my right ovary is affected and it never really used to cause any pain but recently I have been having a constant on and off dull pain and wondered is this normal? Hoping for some advice

Had it for years on the right side of my abdomen. I don't really know what made it stop but it only bothers me if I have a period with cramps these days.
Thanks for replying!! Its so strange, at least it stopped for you, that's good! it's not unbearable but I just wondered if it was normal as alot of the site's say you shouldn't really experience any pain .
I also have pain as well but my Dr told me it's nothing to do with my pcos as they shouldn't cause any pain at all. After going backwards and forwards to the Dr and being told it's just period pain. I have now found out it could be endometriosis that is causing the pain. Specially as I've been showing no other symptoms of pcos apart from my periods being out of wack. All my other symptoms match up to endometriosis. I found because the Drs can see the cysts it's easy to blame it on that. I would definitely go back to your Dr and tell them about your pain. Xx
Endometriosis can be very painful, sadly I have seen a colleague suffering with it, I agree, ask your doctor about it! My colleague also had a cousin with pcos. So could be interlinked. But not sure if you get regular periods with endometriosis!????
