Bleeding on Desogestrel. Had enough now!

So I've been on Desogestrel since May to control/stop my erratic and heavy bleeding.

It's done an okay job, I've had small bleeds here & there which I've put down to the fact I'm a nightmare for taking it at the same time every day. And I have missed a few days here and there.

However, this morning I was just sat on the sofa and could feel like I'd come on properly - you know the feeling? Actual bleeding.

Went to the toilet and a clot fell out (sorry if TMI). Luckily it doesn't seem as heavy as my pre-pill bleeds but now I just feel sick that it's going to start all over again.

Or it could be something more serious that just my hormones!

Anyone else had this with the pill? Is this just my body trying to have clear out?

Hi I’ve been on it for over a year now, took about 6 months of bleeding /spotting most days and now I’m in a cycle of no bleeding for about 4 months and then I bleed for ~3 weeks, not ideal but when I’m not bleeding my symptoms are really well controlled

Ahh okay. That makes me feel a bit better.

It's definitely controlling my symptoms better. I've even lost weight! And my hair growth has definitely slowed down.
