Twisted cyst

Hi everyone,

I’ve been to see my GP about the severe pains I’ve been getting in my groin and abdomen and I’m getting an emergency ultrasound tomorrow as he’s concerned about me possibly having twisted cysts. He never really explained to me what would happen if I did have them and/or treatment. Can anyone help?

It all depends on the size of the cyst, it’s over a certain size they surgically remove it and if it is only small they tend to leave it alone give you pain management to control it. Only down side to PCOS there’s not a lot you can do. I hope this helps X
