Hi all so long story short as most you all know I was taking norethisterone for a full year and 6 months STRAIGHT no breaks and in May 27th this year I stopped taking them and had a some what withdrawal bleed that only lasted for 6 days which is like how it normally works for me! Anyways after that ended I didn't start my period for 5 weeks until this weds gone and it's been 2/3 days now and THE HEAVINESS is unreal and I'm also passing loads of small clots with alot of blood and its freaking me out and my mood is of the chart but what's really bugging me is the heaviness of the bleeding I'm soaking through pads after 2/3hrs sometimes less I do suffer with PCOS and prolonged heavy periods anyways but this seems like its gotten alot WORSE since ending norethisterone has anyone at all been through this please?

Now you need birth control pills to regulate your hormone. Or take again norethisterone with your doctor advice and take ultrasound scan.
Really they don't want me to go on norethisterone yet as it's only been a short time of them and they said to wait it out to see if it slows down but if not they will give me something other then norethisterone
You recently consulted your doctor?. Why you not take combination pills?. norethisterone is the best tablet when you have taking short term policy that means 42 or 63 days and starts again on 2nd day of period. norethisterone is my life saver on my age of 12. My doctor prescribed me 15 mg per day for 10 days, 10mg per day for 10 days, 5 mg per day for 15 days. Then stopped completely. So withdraw bleed come. Start again norethisterone. This is my schedule on my age of 12.
