hi everone,
around September last year I contacted my doctors about my periods as they would either stop and start or just wouldn't stop, so the nurse clinician at my doctors (she's lovely) refered me to my local hospital for a blood test and an MRI scan (which i never ever want again as i hated the loud noise the scanner makes and also because i had got that worried about my scan, i had triggered my asthma).
i don't know why i was sent for the tests though as i know that i have got PCOS as i was diagnosed with PCOS back in 2014/15.
i think that the nurse clinician was worried about how much i'm bleeding as i sometimes have to change my pads that often that i can nearly run out of pads by the time they stop.
i've been on my current period for about a week (which is normal-ish for me), but they keep on changing between medium and very heavy flows.
my current period actually caught me by surprise as i wasn't expecting them to start until around the middle of this month as i usually get lil "warning" signs that i'm due on about a week or so before, but i haven't had anything with my current period, which is really unusual for me.
my period was really odd last month though as they must've started and stopped at least 3 times (that i can remember) and as far as i can remember i have never had a period do that before.
