Cyst bursting?

Hi I'm in alot of pain right now and it feels like a very bad period cramp. But I'm not supposed to be on my period. I'm on birth control and am not supposed to have my period for another 2 weeks. I'm really paranoid that one of the cysts on my ovary might have burst but I don't know what that feels like. I also don't want to go to the doctor in case it really is just period cramps. I just want some advice on what I should do.

Hey hope you are OK. Just wondering if you did contact your gp? I've had the same thing for a few days so just wondered if your doctor suggested anything?

I didn't end up contacting them because it turned out it was my period. But my I've been on my period for almost 7 days which is really weird for me and it was 2 weeks early which was alarming. Also this might be too much info but my period is really really heavy which isn't normal for me at all.
