Hi I went to the doctors (I’m 27 years old)

Past year suffered with severe cystic acne, I have always suffered with excruciating painful heavy periods but always ignored them.

Doctor requested bloods and a liver function test so that I could go on a certain drug however my results came back my aminotransferase level was abnormal and out of reference range. I’m really worried anyone ever heard of this?

Call your doctor to explain? They should let you know what it all means. Also get your heavy periods looked at, you shouldn't just ignore them.

The worrying won't change anything and will just make you ill..I know that's easier said than done. Hopefully your doctor will give you some answers tomorrow and if there is an issue what can be done about..I'm hoping for you that there isn't one of course.

Not what you're looking for?
