I'm only 14 and got my period in year 7,but I've not had my period in 2 or 3 months, I'm not sexually active and when I do have my period it only last around 3-5 days. I eat normal and I don't think I've had any weight loss but I don't know wether it's normal to miss a month or your period and come on different dates every time.

They are usually less frequent at the start, takes a year or two to get to normal
When periods start they can often be infrequent which is normal till they settle which can be a few years. Often after that time if they are still infrequent then they can investigate PCOS. Do any of your family members have pcos as they believe it is hereditary down both male and female lines (as not really ovary related so the name is misleading)
