I am new to the group and looking for some guidence. After comming off the depo injection to try for a baby, i asked my doctor about would i be able to have a baby as i have a past history of having irregular or hevy bleeding. They did all the tests and said i had PCOS. And my chance of having children naturally would be slim. I have followed the advice on loosing weight but i have been struggling and its now been 2 and half years and still no luck. What do you reccomend i say to my GP

That is such rubbish - lots of ladies conceive naturally. 1/3 of fertility issues are men as well now so make sure your partners diet is good. Also dont focus on your period too much as you can ovulate without one and having a period doesnt mean you ovulate - nice and straight forward - look at the fertilityfriends website as taking your temperature is the only accurate way for pcos ladies and it advises other signs to look for as well.
Look at 'theanswertopcos' diet as they have had over 1500 babies conceived naturally following her diet (Norah has research pcos for about 30 years so really knows her stuff). I did it but wasnt TTC and lost 3 stone and two other ladies lost 7 stone each in a year and both conceived naturally. Your BMI needs to be below 30 to qualify for fertility treatment - mine was 30.8 when I conceived Noah (I was age 36) who was 13 yesterday and well worth the 3 year struggle to conceive
