bleeding between infrequent periods

Hi all,

I was diagnosed with PCOS many moons ago, it has followed the usual path of very infrequent periods, 3 or so a year, sometimes less.

Last year I had a dose of a drug called Methotrexate for Arthritis and for a couple of months following I had a "normal" period, However I have now returned to the old pattern of infrequent periods, although now I quite often also spot in-between and sometimes pass clots, When this happens seems to be totally random.

Was wondering if anyone else has this issue, and if so was there anything in particular that triggered it?
