Im 25 years old and have just been diagnosed with pcos

should i use an ob/gyn that specializes in pcos?

Is there such a thing?

are there any tests I should do to monitor my pcos?

An endocrinologist specialises in PCOS - we have a higher risk of heart disease and it is important to have 4 periods a year to keep your uterus healthy. Generally the risks increase more if you are overweight so try and keep your weight under BMI of 30

How does one insure to have 4 periods a year? I have had light ones occasionally but that is it.

You can get medication to force a bleed if you don't think its a proper bleed (provera)
