Hi 7nona I think the first piece of advice id give being on here and reading through every comments helped me a lot.

Also I honestly suggest you ask your doctor what he or she can do for you. If they prescribe anything and you get side affects, tell them to see if they can do anything else about that.

What issues are you having, we are all different in the symptoms we have?

Hi,

I have excess hair but not very badly.Latley I’ve been having pelvic pain and severe migraines. But I don’t know if this is linked to PCOS. Btw I don’t have diabetes.

You need to be investigated for endometriosis as well as pain is not a symptom of pcos but is for endo

I also have PCOS and I did a lot of research when I was first diagnosed to educate myself on what it meant and what I could do myself to help. I soon found though I let it take over my life a bit. I suggest taking each day at a time, there are so many ways to improve the symptoms. Visit your doctor and see what they suggest and go from there. Hope this helps.

Thanks for taking your time to reply. Yeah I do feel stressed and in terms of research sometimes we have to be careful because not all websites are reliable.

Absolutely. I found myself googling every symptom sometimes. Try to take some time for yourself and find tasks to distract yourself from thinking about it.

When I found out I had pcos my endocrinologist told me to only eat meat, fruit, vegetables and water. I started feeling better pretty quickly. That has been 4 years ago and I eat more than that now but I really watch my sugar intake and THAT has been the game changer. It’s hard when you first find out but there is a lot to be said for just knowing why you are having the symptoms you are. Read some books about pcos and get some insulin resistance cookbooks. Hugs and prayers for you.
