Hey. Suffering from pcos (which may seem a bit obvious!). Going a bit crazy. My periods have always been irregular. After no periods for 3 months I started twice in 1 month. First period was about 2 days which is kind of normal. But since then I've been on for over 16 days. Since I've stopped I've randomly been passing clots a few days after. This hasn't worried me but I'm now having watery pink discharge atleast once a week sometimes occupied with little clots. Other times fresh blood. This is starting to frustrate me now and really getting me down. Please help. Is this normal? When do I need to see a doctor? My surgery has not been supportive since I've been diagnosed. Since asking for help when I was 17 when I was first concerned to now asking to call back in a first night for a telephone triage. The whole thing is really stressing me out and making my mood really low so any help is appreciated. Thank you

Spotting / watery pink discharge after period
Hi my love, welcome to my world! I'm in the same boat as you. My body plays the same games. Sometimes I'll have no period and then a normal period then clear discharge for a week and then non stop light pink discharge with random clots. Once I spotted for almost two months. It makes me super hormonal and drives me insane. In the past they've just prescribed provera which stops the bleeding but as soon as you come off you literally bleed your guts out. It will be the most heaviest bleeding with flooding and clots. I refuse to take that too now. It hugely impacts my sex life and upsets me because the spotting doesn't go. I was due for my period now but instead I'm having light pink spotting and then clearand then a clot. God knows how long this is going to go on for. I was diagnosed finally after 8/10years of PCOS symptoms. They've told me to start on metformin now as I am insulin resistant and have piled on the weight over the years. If you find a solution for the spotting please let me know as it drives me insane too. X
