I was wondering has anyone used the green ovulation tests and has anyone found them useful? How reliable are they? One of my friends have recommended them to me as she used them (she doesn't hace a fertility problem) but I'm not sure how it all works with PCOS.

Didn’t work for me with PCOS either. Just always showed 2 lines but not strong enough to be classed as a positive so I was convinced I didn’t ovulate and blood tests showed I did ! My consultant said they are really unreliable with PCOS xxx
This is what I have been getting before taking metformin I was only ever getting one line but recently I've been getting two but never strong enough for me to be certain if it's a positive or not. Out of interest have you had any luck with other ovulation tests? Xx
Yeah it’s so annoying isn’t it! No I haven’t tried any others. I felt that doing them was starting to stress me out as it was so unclear what was going on. I’m not monitoring ovulation at all other than my blood tests so literally no idea when I’m ovulating so just having sex every other day. It’s made me feel a bit more relaxed but time will tell if it works 🤞🏼✨ xxx
These didn’t work for me either. They never once showed that I ovulated (was testing twice a day at the time) during my clomid cycles, but blood tests confirmed I had.
I even tested the same urine samples using these and a clearblue which did show I’d ovulated to check if they were working (they weren’t!). I think they’re a false economy personally - I’d go for the more expensive ones for peace of mind x
Unless your cycle is very regular they can be a bit hit and miss, taking your temperature and looking out for body signs is the most accurate way with pcos (fertilityfriends is a good website). I personally wouldn't waste your money as they can give false readings.
