I had ovarian drilling 5 weeks ago. Today I have started my first period.... this period is really heavy. Is this normal after ovarian drilling? Prior to surgery I had really irregular periods.

It's kick starting it so this isn't unusual - mine was the same, 6 months it can start to get back to its old ways period wise but if you are ttc it has good success rates.

Thank you. I wasn't warned of this haha. Yes I am ttc. Got to have this cycle then can start Clomid on the next cycle. Fingers crossed it works for me 🤞🤞

May be worth looking at the fertilityfriends website too and chart your temperature to see if you are ovulating (a periods doesn't mean ovulation sadly and you can ovulate without a period too - nice and straight forward). As for clomid, remember its a means to an end!!! Warn your partner too - I cried at adverts when on clomid and I am not a crier !!
