I didnt but I know quite a few ladies that did, it increases your chances of conceiving for the next 6 months or so. Have they checked your tubes etc and your partners sperm?

Hey, yeah I've had the dye test and partners sperm is fantastic they told him! Already tried clomid and was completely unresponsive to 100mg and 150mg, then moved on to Gonal - F injections for ovulation injection, second round was cancelled yesterday because my body takes ages to respond then when it does I produced 9 follicles the first time and 8 this time that were 15mm+ as well as many smaller ones, so the doctor said that my only option at the moment was ovarian drilling as I have already tried metformin but suffered really bad side effects and was underweight as I already had a healthy BMI to begin with. So hopefully some progress with this!!

Sometimes it is a bit of trial and error medication wise as we are a special lot of ladies. I conceived Noah via IUI with gonal f injections so it can work. Metformin has a ? anyway as there is no evidence it helps unless you are insulin resistant which not all pcos ladies are (I am not). Good luck, OD is ok, ask them to do anything else they can while they are there!! I had about 11 tests done at the same time (inc tubes) so their may be more they can check :-)

You will get their in the end, takes the patience of a saint sometimes though!

They've already checked my tubes and as far as I know I'm not insulin resistant either! And because I had a healthy BMI it just made me ill with the weight I lost

Your right we are special! It's all just trial and error haha. Apparently it's common for people other pco's to take ageas to respond and then suddenly over respond, so he's hoping after the drilling I'll respond to a lower dosage with less follicles

Yes it is, we can overstimulate quite easily which is why it is a bit of trial and error to get it right. Good luck.

I had ovarian drilling 9 years ago and became pregnant within the following 6 months. It seemed to work well as I became pregnant with my second child without and medication/ intervention. Would recommend but is a bit uncomfortable for a few days. Worth it though.

Thank you, definitely hoping to be one of the lucky ones! Would be so frustrating if it hasn't worked x
