Hmm....i see you keep mentioning pain, do you have endometriosis? And i had blood work done from my general primary doctor and my testosterone level was high and was referred to a specialist then my endocrinologist looked at my abnormal hairs on my body and with me explaining about my absent periods she went on and diagnosed me then set up a ultrasound appointment. Later on my gynecologist said i had one small cyst on my ovary (which was hard to believe i did have more!) oh and she obviously saw how horrifying my acne on my face was.

So that is pretty much how you should get diagnosed based on hormone levels, acne, absent or abnormal periods, and abmormal facial and body hair.

I was diagnosed when i was 19 and now I'm 20 so i am still learning about PCOS. I believe I've had it longer though without being properly diagnosed because i had irregular and absent periods since 12 or 13 years old i think.
