Weird period after beginning the pill

Hi, I apologize for the TMI but I'm just a bit worried and really want this to stop.

I started the pill Norimin this month and tried to skip my period to see if it would work as I am going on holiday at the end of this week.

It didn't work, two days after I started the skip, my period started but it was extremely light with a lot or clear mucus. That went on for about 5 days, and occasionally there was brown mucus too. From day one I was also getting daily, very painful cramps every time I moved.

Yesterday, in the middle of a pack of active tablets I decided to start the sugar tablets in thr hopes that it would encourage my regular period to run its course. But now, while it's still not as heavy as usual, the blood is also bright red.

I've heard about people who have had periods for months after the pill, so I'm so worried as it's been 9 days now, whereas my periods usually last 4-6 days.

mmm I wouldn't have done it the first month of taking it to be honest. The combined pill can take 3 months to settle down anyway so it sounds like it is confused!

Yes, I'm definitely seeing the lack of thought behind this decision.. I can only hope it stops before Friday when I fly out :/

fingers crossed, just keep taking the pill and hopefully it should.
