Can I ask has anyone with WG experienced what I can only say feel like hard painful little lumps under the skin,( I say they feel like haribo sweets !!! ) especially legs and arms, causing extreme pain and aching ? They are dispersed with massage and the pain then lessens, it's like they are causing a blockage in the blood flow ? I have been experiencing this for a few years.

Jill. It would suggest to me that there are small nodules of vasculitic damage in the underlying tissues of the skin, rather like the purpureal rash or nodules that are seen in untreated WG and other types of vasculitis, but in subdermal layers. Massage at an early stage would perhaps get the blood flowing again. Do you have any other signs that your WG is raising its ugly head over the parapet? Of course I could be totally wrong!! Not for the first time!! John
