in 2022, I was diagnosed with vasculitis, MPA. Two years of prednisone followed, along with 8 infusions of Rituximab. As I was finishing up and going into remission, my dental x-rays showed numerous new cavities, necessitating much dental work. I hesitate to blame the drugs I needed to take care of the MPA. Has anyone else experienced this!

dental problems

to be honest I have had no dental problems that could be related to RTX. I started eight years ago then dropped to an annual maintenance infusion.
Your predisolone could be weakening your teeth in the same way as it does the bones. Have you had your bone density checked out? Especially as I see you are also in the age group (same as me) to be concerned about that happening, even without the steroids. Oral health become even more important when you're at risk.
Whoo boy. Don't get me started about dental issues, post MPA remission. I've undergone bone loss which required three separate jaw bone grafts (lost four teeth and needed bridges). No dental insurance meant about 20k over 4 or 5 years. It was a rough time!
I wish you an improved, healthier dental journey!
