Two weeks ago I was given, what the Rummy called a maintenance dose, of Rituximab and of course 125mg of prednisone first.

All good apart from little sleep after the Pred! But now OK but very tired all the time could be the ANCA or the meds who knows.

I am also having very vivid bad dreams, is anyone else experiencing this?

David

Fatigue is just an ongoing symptom of Vasculitis. My husband gets some vivid dreams but we think Pregabalin causes that.

I’m particularly tired weeks after rituximab but the fatigue eventually passes for me. I try and plan for my work to not be as busy for a month after if I can (doesn’t always work) because I know I’ll need more breaks.

Hi Selbourn. Tiredness and vivid dreams, I still have the T-shirt. Like Grizzley I get the fatigue after Rituximab, usually straight after and again 8-12 weeks while it’s doing it’s stuff but dreams hey! I had one this week, all was well when I went to bed then about 2 in the morning there was a special forces person talking on a radio with an infrared light at the end of my bed. I woke to find the infrared light was a light from the extension cable for the TV, more like a hallucination so my trick is on the Rituximab side if I feel fatigued I exercise then sleep for an hour and on the dream side I joke about it and the dreams get lighter, happier.Daft I know but it works for me. Nick.

I have weird, bizarre and vivid dreams on higher doses of prednisolone. They improve as I gradually tail them down. I need to do a relaxation calming set of exercises and breathing to quiet my racing heart and over-alertness as I wake. I practice these, breathing (in for four hold for four, out for four, hold for four) as I do I concentrate on the counting and filling my lungs the diapragm right down to the lowest and the lower ribs furthest out to block out the vivid thoughts often disturbing enough that it's difficult to sleep again for a while.

I'm sorry if you're having these too. But as you tail down the steroids they will improve.
