Here are some alternative antibody range results, albeit from a private testing company, but covering a lot of patients, and helpfully distinguishing between immunosuppressed or not immunosuppressed, AstraZeneca or Pfizer, and one vaccine or two. Again my figure is 16.4 U/mL versus my husband Martin (normal immune system!) at 829 U/mL. We had AZ and would both probably have higher figures if we’d had Pfizer. These figures are useful for contextualising the results of people taking tests searching for this chemical response. That’s seemingly the most common form of Covid antibody test available to consumers in the UK at the moment. My 16.4 U/mL seems very low, but I'm grateful for any protection, knowing how many immunosuppressed people have no measurable antibodies. Bring on my booster soon hopefully!
Important note: by posting this I'm not endorsing this company. I have had no dealings with them, and tested with another company using the same core test method. But the information on the results looks sound, and is based on 3000+ patients, so helpful for those of us trying to understand our results. If you do decide to pay for a private antibody test other companies are available.

Just so its on the same chain..my wife and I got the same or similar private test. Cost 55 each and was simple and fast. We both at the time were a couple of months past our second jabs (with 11 weeks between) and had Pfizer so that may in itseaccount for scores?. I was on 15mg pred and had just come off 3g myco daily so it would have still been in my blood stream. Her healthy non suppressed score was in excess of 2500! I scored what I thought was a huge 380. So maybe difference between vaccines/drug regimes etc and roll on boosters. Should also stress thats not as I understand it the whole protection picture so at best its a confidence boost perhaps using a non scientific comparative measure but like Viv I will take any protection. We are certainly pretty much shielding still in the absence of meaningful data from the science buffs. Hopefully the Addenbrookes/Cambridge study knocks out some useful data soon. Best Lev
Yes Pfizer seems to generate a much higher number of antibodies than AstraZeneca. Per this and published medical studies. I'm on 7mg pred and 2g Myco Mof still.
Sadly couldn't stomach the myco..had a really bad reaction. Current 25 pred and 150 azathioprine. May do another test in a month and see what that regime does or if the antibodies reduce over time.
Participants in the Covidence study who are double vaccinated were invited to take a free vaccine antibody test back in June. The results came back only recently but unfortunately it is difficult to compare the result because it is measured as a ratio (W2_SER_ratio). I emailed Covidence to ask for further information. Any ratio above 1.0 is considered a positive antibody test. They tested 5,800 fully vaccinated participants with a positive outcome, and the average W2_SER_ratio was 2.9. I was quite amazed that my own test ratio came back at 3.96. I guess by now my antibody level will have declined somewhat (especially as I had the AZ vaccine), however it has provided me with a bit of reassurance for now.
