I have voted ‘unhappy’ but this is a massive understatement. I have no spleen ( due to childhood ITP) SLE, athsma , hypothyroidism and numerous allergies. I work as a radiographer and was in the shielding category for over 12 months, so was kept safe at home. I went back to work in April 2021, after being persuaded it was safe for me to do so, massive social anxiety, after a couple of weeks of non patient facing and waiting for an antibody test, was told by occupational health that they won’t do one, given reasonable adjustments ( working in elective green areas, where patients have been tested and self isolated) much to the annoyance of the short staffed department. They are wanting me to go back to normal duties , which would involve on call and lone working and xraying all patients just walking in. I am digging my heels in and if they do allow this on the 19th, may very well end up going off sick with anxiety. So no, please keep face masks and social distancing, particularly in health care settings, public transport and shops. Far too soon to let it all go.

I so agree with you. I. still shielding and it’s face masks, lateral flow tests and distancing or I don’t want to see them. Don’t give in it’s your life they are playing with.
