More Questions, about Poo-oo-oo

Dear Everyone,

Sorry about the subject matter for, many of us, a HARD subject anyway. Not the Best of questions either but.....Do you ever POO, the bed, maybe with-or without- wetting? Do you, like me, often 'Know' that it's likely? (Maybe even 'Plan' it?)

What I'm talking about, again without intending to be too 'Crude', is, if/ when you are Constipated (like NOW, it hasn't Rained- in earnest- for Weeks) do you ever take a Laxative, at Tea Time, so it 'Happens' over night? I'll admit that, on occasion, I DO do this. I KNOW that this ISN'T, the easiest of Subjects but it IS IMPORTANT! I often also, go to bed, without emptying my Bladder first- knowing that it's, highly likely- to Come Out. Personally, and I think this Stems from Childhood, I often find it 'Easier' to Poo/ Wee myself at night (I put on suitable 'Protective Clothing', before hand) especially when Constipated. Certainly, my 'Tummy', often feels Much Better on 'Messy' mornings. I'm just interested, to find out, if 'Others' are the same.

Once again, sorry for the 'Subject Matter' here, I hope no-one is offended- NOT my intention at all. In MY case, two Things are true....'Dry weather Constipates Me'....'A Nappy/Pad, in bed, Helps me Go'.

Wishing you all Good 'Relief'.

A difficult subject, I know. I have had one accident in the night, I must have thought it was wind. I also notice that when I wee, I nearly always poo at the same time.

Rather than laxatives, stool softeners only and drink 2 quarts water a day. Have you seen a gastroenterologist, had a colonoscopy? Just to be sure nothing sinister is going on?

Risk of laxatives is dehydration and dependence.

My advice is lots and lots of water and stool softener.Prune juice is good too. Just don't let yourself b/c dehydrated. Fiber One bars are good and tasty. I know someone who died from laxative abuse which led to so much dehydration and a fatal drop in blood pressure.
