Anyone under the care of Professor Alan Salama at the Royal Free?

I attend the Royal Free hospial in Hampstead but under Rheumatology Consultants. Professor Salama is head of the Renal Department and has a very good reputation there. He has written articles for Vasculitis UK to so is highly respected.

Yes. Alan Salama and his colleague Sally Hamour lead an excellent team of nephrologists who specialise in vasculitis.

Have you tried phoning the switchboard and asking to be put through to his secretary?

I suggest you e-mail him with your phone no. and saying that you've been trying to contact his secretary without success and could he ask her to ring you.

I have been under the care of Alan Salama ,Sally Hamour and their team for the past seven years at the Royal Free.I have MPA

I think the entire team including nurses and support staff are wonderful..They have guided and supported me through some tricky times with great care and attention.

I could not recommend them highly enough and feel really fortunate they are based in my local hospital.

It can be a real problem getting through to anybody in RF on the phone so you might do well to ask for your consultant's direct email nhs address.In my experience they are always very quick to reply.

Yes we did that in the end - it’s very good they are all listed on the website!
