Thomas and Guys have a Lupus and Vasculitis department led by Dr D'Druz . Hammersmith Hospital have a Multidisciplinary Vasculitis Centre in London, led by Prof Charles Pusey and Prof Justin Mason. You would have to ask your GP for a referral.

Hope this helps Alan

thank you, as soon as i get my diagnosis i will work out what to do. If i can get to see the right person i may get some answers. Twenty months ago i was told i may have "mythenia Gravis" it took until 7 weeks ago to get a Muscle/nerve biopsy and i still wait for a follow up appointment to tell me what i have.

I attend St Thomas's. I have Takayasus. Dr D'Cruz is a lovely man. Very thorough and friendly, as are all the staff. I live in Essex and it takes me an hour to get there. It is a busy clinic , so expect a long wait. Good Luck

Thank you, I will wait until my diagnosis and take it from there. Hopefully after an initial consultation i won't need to attend more than a couple of times a month. I can get there on a day return from London.

cheers

I Just e mailed doctor jayne and recieved a reply. I will need to go through my GP/specialist, no problem.

I looked at the web site and weekly or monthly updates can be made by phone once you have had the initial consultation.

thank you all

although i may have a look at hammersmith hospital

Dear Alan,

I can't comment on Hammersmith Hospital, having never been there, but Addenbrooke's is excellent. I had a kidney transplant there, over a year ago now (July 2013) and I am still 'under' them, for vasculitis treatment- Dr Jane's team. Dr David Jane is also associated, with this 'forum' as he is an advisor to 'Vasculitis UK- our sister organisation.

Please do let us know how you get on Alan.

In the men time, take care of yourself

thank you
