I have ANCA Vasculitis but in remission at the moment and having Rituximab every 6 months.I also have Stage3/4 CKD but this last day am now passing blood and wondered if anybody has experienced the same.

I also have stage 3/4 CKD and although they test for blood in the urine when I go to see my consultant it is normally negligible.

If blood is visible then I think you need to get to get to your GP or consultant if only to confirm there are no major issues.

Great advice from Jann, visible Haematuria ( blood in the urine ) needs investigated ASAP.

Thanks Jan i am actually going to see my consultant tomorrow and i rung her today and she said they would sort it then but if any clots appear tonight i must go to Aand E.Thanks

I also have ANCA vasculitis. My kidney function is 14%, I'm having a transplant (my dad has been passed to donate) within the next few weeks and my urine has high levels of blood when tested.

BUT the blood is not visible. Therefore if you can actually see blood in your urine, it needs to be checked asap!

Many thanks everybody for your help and comments they are very helpful.To update you i have been to see my consultant today and he has referred me to Urology for examination which will happen quickly so this is good and hopefully get sorted.
