I have never claimed but, from what i have heard from other people, when you go to a tribunal take someone with you.

Dont say you can manage things when you know you cant.

Check out benefitsandwork.co.uk/ for a lot of information to help you.

Good luck :)

Hi Sandie

Is this for an ESA claim? If so let me know as I have been through it and I will fill you in.

Hi Sandie

I don't know about PIP as in whether the format of who is on the panel is the same but did go through an ESA appeal tribunal and would say it wasn't at all as bad I thought it would be.

The panel consisted of a doctor and a solicitor and I found them very easy to talk to and really quite sympathetic and believed they were there to help not put barriers up.

Good luck I hope it goes well, I know its such a lengthy, unnecessary and stressful process but keep going and fingers crossed.
